Why I made it: My good friend TJ cosplays the best Irvine Kinneas EVER.. so I wanted to be his Selphie for a con. I made this last November in order to have it done by AUSA. I finished a bit early and wore it to Nekocon too.

How I made it: The process on this one is rather interesting. I took a single piece of yellow fabric about a yard and a half long and then made little tucks in it. These tucks I then sewed and thus created what I call the origami dress. It's all folded and sewn except for the straps which were cut off of the length. There is a bit of flat lace on the inside as the hem binding and the straps are held on with overall clips. A heavy duty zipper zips up the front, and there are two functional pockets in the back.The boots I already had in my possession.

The wig was a recent occurrence, originally I used my own hair (with a ton of hair glue). It was a bit long however and didn't look right, and since I dyed my hair blonde recently I decided that a wig was in order if I ever wanted to wear this costume again. (which I did). The wig is currently needing to undergo more styling using clear caulking this time instead of hair glue… for a more permanent solution as it were.

Likes: I like how cute the costume is, and how comfortable. It's a great costume for summer conventions since it's cool and simple.

Dislikes: I don't like how fat it makes me look from some angles. It's not that fitted. I also don't like how short the dress is >_<.
