Why I made it: I love Isard. Next to Thrawn she has to be my very favourite Imperial ever. So naturally as she's female and imperial and awesome, I had to cosplay her. I made this outfit once before (badly) when I had more weight on me (about 50 pounds), and I wanted to make it again since I'd lost the weight and I had a function to go to with my garrison - the premier of Revelations!

How I made it: This one I made using the same pattern I had created for Daala.. only I made a few minor adjustments for accuracy's sake. The only things I really changed was the sizing a bit and I added "princess" seams on the sides. The gloves were made by me as well and various forms have been used for making the hair. In the past I have dyed my own hair (too short) black and added streaks of white that clipped in, but now with the new human hair wig I have, I am going to add in the white streaks and use that. The eyes were done using contacts.

As a side note, I decided purposefully to use the book description of the white streaks rather than the comic book rendering. In the book the white comes from her temples and not from the top of her hair. The comic book rendering reminds me a bit too much of Rogue from X-men.

Likes: I love Isard, and I love being her. She's evil, but she's amazing nonetheless. I also love the wig that I have now, it's perfect for her!

Dislikes: I don't like the contacts so much. I want to get new ones that look more real. Also the costume requires me to be very thin to have it fit right. (but it looks soo good).
