About:
Hi! Winters Knight here, you might have seen me at a convention or on some other costume site.. I'm here to tell you a little about myself.

First off, I ADORE sewing. My mother taught me, her mother taught her, my great grandfather was a tailor.. so it sort of came on down the line to me that way. I don't consider myself solely a seamstress though. I consider myself an artist.

One of my philosophys with my art is this: If Blood is the right colour, use Blood.

I know that sounds sort of gross if you don't understand, but it means that I dedicate myself fully to the project at hand. If I need to use human hair, I will use it, if I need to use blood, I will use it. That's just the way it is. I know I still have a LOT to learn, but I intend to learn whatever I can because this is what I love.

I am applying at the moment to VCU for Costume Design.. finally. I probably should have thought of this a lot sooner, but I think I had to come into the realization on my own. I need the networking, and the other skills that the school can give me, so wish me luck! My portfolio Review Date is February 29th!

Personality:

I can tend to come off as a bit dominating at times, and I guess that I am.. but that's just my personality. I try to be nice to everyone though, so if you see me at a convention, do come up and say hi! There will be times I might sound a bit snappish or in a hurry.. mostly that's if I'm in horrible pain. . . so if I look terribly miserable, probably that means it's not a good time. For the most part though, I love being in costume, and I love meeting new people.. so say hi!
